Elegant antique tapestry fire screen in mahogany stand. It features rotating curved frame that mounts the bead works and needlepoint tapestry of exotic bird on a branch surrounded with floral and foliage motifs on one side and a plain olive colour fabric on the other side. Raised on a turned and carved acanthus leaves mahogany stand, carved tripod of cabriole legs base atop the swivel wheel casters. Finely crafted in England late 1800. In very good condition with traces of wear, missing beads, minor holes on tapestry, scratches on wood and other details consistent to age. A charming decorative piece that add statement to a distinctive interior!
