A highly detailed and commanding sculpture depicting Jeanne d’Arc, the iconic French heroine, in full armor atop a galloping horse. She triumphantly waves a fleur-de-lys flag, capturing the moment of victory after the historic Siege of Orléans. Crafted in patinated spelter with rich details of her helmet, gloves, and coat of arms on the base ground. A metal plaque "Jeanne d'Arc au Siège d'Orléans" on the front of wooden base. The banner is unscrewable. Made in France circa 1900. In very good condition with traces of wear, a hairline crack in wooden base and other details consistent to age and artisan craftsmanship.
