Impressive gothic revival heavy book brass stand. Beautifully crafted in robust structure with time worn burgundy velvet inlay supported by a wooden panel with red velvet cover at the back, raised on a unique four claw feet, most probably handcrafted at the atelier of Henri Gerard, Magasin et Atelier d'Art Chretien in Namur, Belgium late 1800.  In very good condition with traces of wear, some minor stain on front lining and discoloration on back cover, aging patina on brass, slight lean to one leg almost unnoticeable and other minor details consistent to age.
