Fine painting of an interior scene by Reijntjens, Henricus Engelbertus (Amsterdam, The Netherlands, 1817-1900) "The Salon Amusements", oil on panel, signed lower left and a partial title written on the back of the panel. Reijntjens was a student of Jan Adam Kruseman. He worked mostly as a freelance artist, painted and drew portraits, historical scenes and genre pieces. In 1855 he was appointed as member of the Royal Academy in Amsterdam. Some of his works are exhibited in Rijksmuseum Amsterdam, The Netherlands. In very good condition with minor traces of age and wear. Weight: 2.65 lb. or 1.20 kg.
