Stunning pair of vintage Bacchus, the Roman god of wine candlesticks. High quality silver plated candle holder with nude male figure that also resembles to Michelangelo's David statue adorned with grapes, atop the round base. A creation of Maison Christofle France with visible engraved hallmarks and cartouches on the side of the base. Made in Paris, France circa 1980's. In very good condition with minor traces of wear, light tarnish, scratches and other minor details consistent to age, and artisan craftsmanship.
