Impressive antique earth globe by French Geographers E. Girard and A. Boitte situated at 42 rue l' Echiquier, Paris. This charming terrestrial globe in papier maché is raised on an embellished lion heads and tripod paw iron cast base. Produced in Belgium by L'Institut National de Geographie Bruxelles in the late 1800. In good used condition with traces of wear, patina, dents, detached piece and other details consistent to age as part of it's historical content and decorative character.
