Stunning Victorian brass and wood butler's tray on turned stand. Superb quality front loading tray featuring large brass plateau on wooden plank adorned with turned wood spindle gallery to the sides and rear. The tray rests on well-studded three leather straps securely attached on a turned oak crossed leg folding stand. A functional piece that continue fulfilling its purpose, mostly this kind of details of craftsmanship can only be found in wealthy houses for serving drinks or brought along during campaigns and grand tours. Made in England late 1800. In very good condition, fully functional with traces of wear, scratches and spots on surfaces, patina fading and other minor details consistent to age that contributed much to its charm.
