Amazing Art Deco male bust wax mannequin. This rare Pierre Imans wax head has real glass eyes, genuine hair strands and realistic skin tone, in life-like features. The wax model raised on hand-painted chalkware bust with inner wood supports, resting on a solid marble swivel pedestal. The bust is signed on the right side "P. Imans Paris" and the back side of the head, P. Imans-Paris (Pierre Imans) model 5157.5 made in France circa 1930's. In very good condition with traces of wear, minor chips to chalkware and marble, some paint and hair loss, a hairline crack on back neck - safely supported on wooden base and other details consistent to age and artisan craftsmanship.
