An eye catcher vintage crystal vase by Jean-Baptiste Doyen for Verrerie d'Havre-Ville, Belgique who took over the glass-making business and changed it to his name. Heavy quality glass in the shape of the LIPS with beautiful switching colors from burgundy to purple with shade of amethyst to clear cut crystal, the pictures can't justify the real rich color of this vase. Doyen existed in 1909 until 1975 known in making optic vases and specialty of custom made glass creation by customer's request. They exhibited their creations alongside with Val St Lambert at the Paris Expo of 1937 and other several important European Art Expo's. Hand-crafted in Belgium circa 1950. In very good vintage condition with scrathes at the bottom and other minimal traces of wear and age. Extra pictures will be provided upon request. Weight: 12.80 lb or 5.80 kg.
