Stunning vintage blanc de chine porcelain sculpture of a bald head with monastic clothing known to be Bodhidharma an Indian monk, named Damo in China and Daruma Daishi in Japan. He was a Buddhist teacher, the founder of Chan (Zen) Buddhism in China. A high quality ivory white porcelain with Dehua Markings, China late 20th century.  In very good condition with traces commensurate to its use and age.
