Authentic vintage Zig Zag corkscrew as marked on both sides of the pulling handle. A magnificent piece made of nickel plated steel having expandable 8 arm links, bottom ring and solid cut worm to efficiently open wine bottles. It has top two cap hooks for removing beer or soft drink bottle caps. The Zig Zag concertina, accordion bottle opener was designed by Jules Bart of Nancy, France and patented in 1919. This featured piece has visible marking: Bte. S.G.D.G. Fr. & Et. M & M Dep., on the back marked the year of manufacture 60 (1960). In very good condition with traces of wear and details consistent to age.
